What Advect shows
Advect hands the album artwork to a velocity field: every pixel is pushed by its own local current, so the colours stretch into swirls, eddies and trails that never repeat. Nothing is pre-recorded; every frame is computed live.
The current grows stronger in the intense passages and settles in the breaks. On minimal house or a long, rolling techno track, the screen turns into a living painting that keeps changing without ever freezing.

Questions about Advect

Advect is designed for electronic, house, minimal techno, ideally between 110 and 180 BPM. Halofloor picks it on its own when a song suits it, and you can also force it from the console.
Is Advect free?
Advect is part of Halofloor’s free plan, with no time limit and no credit card. Just open the console and start your music.
Is Advect a video?
Every frame of Advect is computed live by your computer from the song’s analysis: tempo, energy, build-ups and drops. It never repeats from one song to the next.
What kind of TV do I need?
Any TV with an HDMI input works, smart or not. The computer renders the visuals and the TV displays them, with no app to install.
