What Murmuration shows

Murmuration paints a dusk sky, orange at the horizon then pink and deep blue, above a marsh of backlit reeds and trees. Tens of thousands of starlings form a single moving mass that stretches, contracts and folds into arcs and ribbons.

Accents in the music send dark waves rippling through the flock, as in real murmurations; more rarely it splits in two and joins up again. Everything stays slow and organic, with no flashes. For indie, folk, film scores, soft electronica, neo-classical and post-rock.
