What Woofer shows

Woofer films a big bass speaker from very close: a black frame, a rubber surround, a paper cone and a brushed aluminium dust cap, photographed as they are. On every kick the cone is thrown forward, then bounces back, and the surround stretches.

Sand and steel balls resting on the cone jump on every hit, higher in the middle, just like in slow-motion speaker videos, and a ring of LEDs hidden under the frame pulses on the beats in the cover’s colour. A physical world for bass music, dubstep, drum and bass, trap and techno.
