Lines and geometry

Blueprint — a technical blueprint drawn live

An engineering drawing that draws itself before your eyes, line by line.

What Blueprint shows

Blueprint borrows the look of technical drawings on blue paper: a mechanism is traced in front, top and side views, with hidden lines, cross-sections and a title block. The lines appear as if from a plotter’s pen.

The mechanism assembles and comes apart over the course of the track, parts rotate on the beat and the drawing changes with each section. A precise, graphic world for electronic music, IDM, synth-pop and krautrock.

Questions about Blueprint

What music does Blueprint suit best?

Blueprint is designed for electronic, IDM, synth-pop, krautrock, ideally between 95 and 160 BPM. Halofloor picks it on its own when a song suits it, and you can also force it from the console.

Is Blueprint free?

Blueprint is part of Halofloor’s free plan, with no time limit and no credit card. Just open the console and start your music.

Is Blueprint a video?

Every frame of Blueprint is computed live by your computer from the song’s analysis: tempo, energy, build-ups and drops. It never repeats from one song to the next.

What kind of TV do I need?

Any TV with an HDMI input works, smart or not. The computer renders the visuals and the TV displays them, with no app to install.
