What Splitflap shows
SplitFlap recreates the old departure boards of train stations and airports: rows of flaps that flip with a clack to spell out letters. Here they show the title and artist of the song that is playing.
The flaps turn on the beat, the words rewrite themselves at the song’s main sections and the board comes alive in waves of letters. A retro, graphic world for pop, indie, electronic music and rock.
