What Dissolve shows
Dissolve rebuilds your album art at the centre of the screen from tens of thousands of particles, one per point of the image. Formed, it is sharp: each particle is a square exactly the size of a cell. Every bar it disintegrates a different way: carried off by the wind, blown apart in an explosion, sucked into a vortex, falling as rain that bounces on the floor, cut into blocks that flip over, crumbling like sand. Then every particle returns to its place on a damped spring, in a wave, and the image reforms exactly on the downbeat.
On every beat a wave of depth crosses the image. The style changes with each phrase: full colour, neon monochrome, stipple. In build-ups the image vibrates and more and more particles break loose; on the drop everything explodes into a 3D cloud that turns for two bars before reforming. For EDM, house, trance, pop and hip-hop.

Is Dissolve free?
Dissolve is part of Halofloor’s free plan, with no time limit and no credit card. Just open the console and start your music.
Is Dissolve a video?
Every frame of Dissolve is computed live by your computer from the song’s analysis: tempo, energy, build-ups and drops. It never repeats from one song to the next.
What kind of TV do I need?
Any TV with an HDMI input works, smart or not. The computer renders the visuals and the TV displays them, with no app to install.
