What Maelstrom shows
Maelstrom draws a vortex made of thousands of points of light: pink and violet rings coil into a spiral and sink toward a dazzling centre, while particles are swept along by the current.
The rotation speeds up with the tempo, the spiral tightens on the build-ups and the centre blazes on the drops. A dizzying world for techno, trance and drum and bass.

Questions about Maelstrom
What music does Maelstrom suit best?
Maelstrom is designed for techno, trance, drum and bass, ideally between 110 and 180 BPM. Halofloor picks it on its own when a song suits it, and you can also force it from the console.
Is Maelstrom free?
Maelstrom is part of Halofloor’s free plan, with no time limit and no credit card. Just open the console and start your music.
Is Maelstrom a video?
Every frame of Maelstrom is computed live by your computer from the song’s analysis: tempo, energy, build-ups and drops. It never repeats from one song to the next.
What kind of TV do I need?
Any TV with an HDMI input works, smart or not. The computer renders the visuals and the TV displays them, with no app to install.
Put Maelstrom on your screen
