What Glowtide shows
Glowtide starts from a photo of a beach at night between two headlands. When a wave breaks, its foam lights up in electric cyan from one end of the beach to the other, like glowing plankton on a summer night. The light has no source: it is born wherever the water is stirred.
Then the glowing foam runs up the wet sand in a thin sheet, fades into sparkles, and the sand reflects the glow of the waves. One wave per phrase, three in a row at the big moments, never marking the beat. A calm world for ambient, downtempo, slow R&B and lo-fi.
