What Hyperbolic shows
Hyperbolic folds a video loop into a hyperbolic tiling: triangles, squares or pentagons meet around each vertex in greater numbers than on a flat plane, and shrink endlessly toward the edges.
The tiling scrolls with the tempo, changes geometry with each phrase and slowly drifts in colour. A mathematical, hypnotic world for psytrance, techno and experimental electronic music.
