What Pixelsort shows
Pixelsort shows the album cover full screen and applies glitch-art pixel sorting to it. In some bands, the pixels are ordered by brightness and stretch into long flows of colour that glide along the picture.
Bands light up on the beats, the sorting direction changes on every phrase - rows, columns, diagonals, rays bursting from the centre or a melt from top to bottom - and on the drop the cover bursts apart before coming back sharp. For electro, techno, IDM, experimental hip-hop and bass music.
