What Matrix shows
Matrix fills the screen with columns of characters falling like digital rain, in the style of science-fiction screens. Each glyph glows for an instant and then slowly fades, like the phosphor of an old monitor.
The rain speeds up with the tempo, new columns start on the strong beats and the colours follow the song’s artwork. A cyberpunk world for techno, electronic music and drum and bass.

Frequently asked
Questions about Matrix
What music does Matrix suit best?
Matrix is designed for techno, electronic, cyberpunk, drum and bass, ideally between 100 and 175 BPM. Halofloor picks it on its own when a song suits it, and you can also force it from the console.
Is Matrix free?
Matrix is part of Halofloor’s free plan, with no time limit and no credit card. Just open the console and start your music.
Is Matrix a video?
Every frame of Matrix is computed live by your computer from the song’s analysis: tempo, energy, build-ups and drops. It never repeats from one song to the next.
What kind of TV do I need?
Any TV with an HDMI input works, smart or not. The computer renders the visuals and the TV displays them, with no app to install.
Put Matrix on your screen
Open the console, pick your music: Halofloor does the rest.
