What Shoji shows

Shoji shows a Japanese room closed off by sliding panels of rice paper stretched over a wooden lattice. Nothing in it emits light: the paper filters a soft daylight, and shadows pass behind it.

The panels slide open with the song’s main sections, and the shadows glide to the rhythm of the phrases. A calm, minimal zen world for ambient, lo-fi, jazz and Japanese music.
