Real places that light up

Gallery — living photographs

A full-screen photograph, animated so gently you feel it breathe.

On screen

What Gallery shows

Gallery shows a large photograph, full screen, and animates it below the threshold of perception: the light moves, the viewpoint drifts, but the subject is never distorted. You can tell the picture is alive without being able to say what moves.

The photographs change with the song’s main sections, and the light follows its energy. A refined world for jazz, classical music, bossa nova and dinners where the screen should stay discreet.

Frequently asked

Questions about Gallery

What music does Gallery suit best?

Gallery is designed for jazz, classical, ambient, bossa nova, ideally between 40 and 140 BPM. Halofloor picks it on its own when a song suits it, and you can also force it from the console.

Is Gallery free?

Gallery is part of Halofloor’s free plan, with no time limit and no credit card. Just open the console and start your music.

Is Gallery a video?

Every frame of Gallery is computed live by your computer from the song’s analysis: tempo, energy, build-ups and drops. It never repeats from one song to the next.

What kind of TV do I need?

Any TV with an HDMI input works, smart or not. The computer renders the visuals and the TV displays them, with no app to install.
