Particles and spotlights

Texer — a flying mosaic of the artwork

The artwork cut into tiles that fly in orbit, then snap back together on the drop.

What Texer shows

Texer cuts the album art into a grid of four hundred tiles, each carrying its own fragment of the picture. The tiles fly along three-dimensional curves — spirals, knots, helixes — tumbling as they go.

On the drop, the tiles gather and the artwork comes back together, before flying off into orbit again. A tribute to Winamp visualizers and the demoscene, for electronic music, house and synthwave.
