What Bokeh shows
Bokeh looks at the city at night through a wide-open lens. Hundreds of soft discs of light in amber, red, cyan and pink float and drift gently, with the brighter rim and the cat’s-eye shape of real lenses.
On every musical phrase the focus shifts: the discs pull into sharp points and reveal an avenue with its headlights and signs, the song’s cover as a mosaic of lights, its title written in dots, or a sky of stars and lanterns, then everything drifts back out of focus. Soft and stylish, for jazz, lounge, soul, R&B, deep house and mellow pop.
