What Galaxy shows

Galaxy shows a spiral galaxy seen at three-quarters: a golden bulge, bluish arms, pink and blue nebulae, dust lanes. As in the real sky, no star follows an arm: each one travels its own orbit, and the arms appear where the orbits crowd together. The camera slowly swings from face-on to almost edge-on.

When the music is calm the galaxy turns slowly with wide arms and deep colours; as it builds, the galaxy speeds up, its arms tighten and a wave of light runs along them on every beat. Each section takes it from two arms to three, then four, and on the drop a shockwave crosses the disc. For ambient, progressive house, trance, downtempo and chill electronica.

Questions about Galaxy

What music does Galaxy suit best?

Galaxy is designed for ambient, progressive house, trance, downtempo, chill electronica, ideally between 60 and 160 BPM. Halofloor picks it on its own when a song suits it, and you can also force it from the console.

Is Galaxy free?

Galaxy is part of Halofloor’s free plan, with no time limit and no credit card. Just open the console and start your music.

Is Galaxy a video?

Every frame of Galaxy is computed live by your computer from the song’s analysis: tempo, energy, build-ups and drops. It never repeats from one song to the next.

What kind of TV do I need?

Any TV with an HDMI input works, smart or not. The computer renders the visuals and the TV displays them, with no app to install.
