What Cloudsea shows

Cloudsea puts you on a summit above a real sea of clouds, photographed at dawn and again at sunrise. The peaks stand still like islands; only the clouds flow, slowly, from left to right, and curl around their feet. Veils of mist cling to the summits, and the ridge in the foreground stands black against the light.

The scene plays as a twenty-second time-lapse: the golden light spreads out from the sun, reaching the cloud tops and the peak faces turned toward it first, the disc clears the cloud horizon around the fifth second and its rays pass between the peaks. Then the golden morning stays. No pulse at all: the music only sets the speed of the clouds and the density of the veils. For ambient, post-rock, neoclassical and film music.
