What Ferro shows

Ferro shows a ferrofluid, the magnetic liquid that stands up in spikes when a magnet comes near, in a dish under studio softboxes. Reflections slide across its metallic points.

The bass acts as the magnet: the spikes shoot up on the kicks, ripple in waves and sink back in the breaks. A fascinating world for techno, bass music and industrial electronic music.

Questions about Ferro

What music does Ferro suit best?

Ferro is designed for techno, bass music, industrial electronic, ideally between 100 and 160 BPM. Halofloor picks it on its own when a song suits it, and you can also force it from the console.

Is Ferro free?

Ferro is part of Halofloor’s free plan, with no time limit and no credit card. Just open the console and start your music.

Is Ferro a video?

Every frame of Ferro is computed live by your computer from the song’s analysis: tempo, energy, build-ups and drops. It never repeats from one song to the next.

What kind of TV do I need?

Any TV with an HDMI input works, smart or not. The computer renders the visuals and the TV displays them, with no app to install.
