What Metro shows
Metro draws on black the map of a network that does not exist: coloured lines, straight or at 45°, with rounded bends, crossing at interchanges around the album art. Every song has its own map, always the same one, and its colours come from the album art.
A new line is drawn on each musical phrase, and its stations light up as the line reaches them. Glowing trains leave and arrive on the beat, an interchange lights up on every bar, and on the drop every train leaves at once. By the end of the song the network is complete.

Frequently asked
Questions about Metro
What music does Metro suit best?
Metro is designed for deep house, electropop, nu-disco, ideally between 90 and 128 BPM. Halofloor picks it on its own when a song suits it, and you can also force it from the console.
Is Metro free?
Metro is part of Halofloor’s free plan, with no time limit and no credit card. Just open the console and start your music.
Is Metro a video?
Every frame of Metro is computed live by your computer from the song’s analysis: tempo, energy, build-ups and drops. It never repeats from one song to the next.
What kind of TV do I need?
Any TV with an HDMI input works, smart or not. The computer renders the visuals and the TV displays them, with no app to install.
