Shapes — neon shapes that play the bar

Four neon shapes beating out the bar, in front of fireworks.

What Shapes shows

Shapes gives every beat its own shape: the circle on the first, the triangle on the second, the square on the third, the star on the fourth. After a few bars you read the rhythm in the shapes, solo, in a row, as a wall, a tunnel or an orbit.

Behind them, fireworks mark the phrases, the build-ups and the drops, and on the big moments one shell writes the song title in sparks. A graphic world for techno, house, electronic music and bass music.

Is Shapes a video?

Every frame of Shapes is computed live by your computer from the song’s analysis: tempo, energy, build-ups and drops. It never repeats from one song to the next.
