On screen
What Cells shows
Cells fills the screen with a tissue of cells whose walls glow. On every beat a few cells divide as in mitosis: a new wall is born in the middle, grows and pushes its neighbours away, while the nucleus stretches before it splits.
On the bars, neighbouring cells merge; the more intense the music, the more the tissue divides. Colours flow from cell to cell, and the tissue bends into a fisheye, into turning sectors or into a kaleidoscope. For psytrance, techno, acid and bass music.
